MSST Teammate Sydnie Williams

Our teammate Sydnie Williams recently had the opportunity to meet US Ski Team's Mikaela Shiffrin while training at Copper Mountain Colorado. Syd was training with Greg Timm, Coach for the Mt. Bachelor High School Race Team. Training was held the last week in October with good snow and even some new. Mikaela was training in the same area for the opening of FIS World Cup slalom season at Levi Finland today.

Sydnie will be training with the MSST in the Siskiyou Cup Team Program, the Foothill High School Team and will participate in USSA racing this year all under the coaching of Brian Santos, MSST’s Head Coach.

Syd said in a statement, “Skiing is an amazing life skill that will change your outlook on everything you do in life forever. If you are one that has been lucky enough to find your way to the snow in the sports of skiing or snowboarding, stick with it! There is nothing more satisfying! POW POW”.
